So I am getting further into my research and can I just say for a first timer the gear list is DAUNTING! I've also noticed some people starting in the sierras and skipping out on the desert portion and though I wouldn't mind missing out on the scorching desert sun, I would feel that I was cheating myself out of the full PCT experience! Plus from all the blogs I have been following the ones who started from the border seem to be feeling stronger than those who didn't and also seem to enjoy the transition into the sierras much more... That's all my random ramblings for today, hanging out researching and making lists lists and more lists lol!
